Tottenham Ultimate Collection DVD Boxset There is a small elite of teams that have earned the reputation as a club synonymous with the FA Cup, and Tottenham Hotspur is certainly one of those! The Ultimate Collection of classic Spurs FA Cup clashes has been collated to allow fans to relive moments of glory again and again. 1961 FA Cup Final v Leicester City The day that another piece of footballing history was created, as Spurs become the first Club in the 20th Century to achieve the treasured League and FA Cup double. Not since Aston Villa in 1897 had this been attained, and with their own brand of attacking football few doubted that Spurs were the finest team in the land. 1962 FA Cup Final v Burnley Returning to Wembley as cup holders, and facing League runners-up Burnley, Spurs were aiming to emulate Newcastle's feat a decade earlier by winning the cup in successive seasons. The match developed into a fascinating battle of wills and tactics, as the two familiar adversaries locked horns once again. Spurs struck an early blow through the brilliance of Greaves, who stopped deftly to swivel and place his shot past Blacklaw in the Burnley goal. 1967 FA Cup Final v Chelsea After 95 years of FA Cup history, the final eventually played host to an all London affair, as Spurs chased an incredible fifth and Chelsea were still searching for that inaugural first. A much anticipated affair, emotions ran high and loyalty held firm. Spurs were favourites, and the match went according to form, as they effectively controlled the whole game from the very start. 1981 FA Cup Final v Manchester City The 1981 FA Cup became only the tenth final in history to finish in a draw, and to a replay it went on a damp Wednesday evening in April. But the fireworks were well and truly lit that night, as the nation was treated to a cracker and a goal of sublime quality by Ricky Villa as Spurs clinched the FA Cup for the 6th time in their history. 1982 FA Cup Final v QPR The unforgettable cup success of 1981 paved the way for a quite a remarkable season at White Hart Lane, as Keith Burkenshaw prepared his team for a four-pronged attack at both home and abroad. But it would be the FA Cup in which success would be tasted once again, as Tottenham overcame a spirited Queens Park Rangers after yet another Cup final replay. 1991 Semi Final vs Arsenal The first semi-final ever to take place at the twin towers was a day that all Tottenham fans will never forget. Spurs not only went on to win their 8th FA Cup, but also denied their North London rivals, Arsenal a chance of the double in the process. The talismanic Paul Gascoigne virtually carried the team into the final that year with some incredible performances, as the cup run became a welcome distraction in a year where massive debts meant that the club's very existence was in doubt. 1991 FA Cup Final v Nottingham Forest Having created history by playing in the first FA Cup semi-final at Wembley, Spurs headed into this one confident of reacquainting themselves with the Cup they had become so familiar with down the years, and for the 5th decade in succession they maintained the curious record of winning a major trophy in a year ending in the numeral '1'.
